Here is something very useful for you, so you don't say I've gone completely diary-mode.
How do you come up with a lot of good passwords that are easy to remember?
You memorize a literary work, like a poem, and use the first letters of the words in the lines.
This way you can generate a ton of unique passwords for different websites, etc., and they will all be strong and easily recalled if necessary. Telling which password goes where isn't hard either. To do this, you need to correlate some feature of the password with the name of the organization, let's say for gmail we use a line from our poem that starts with a g. If there is no such line, then with an "m", and so forth (you'd better come up with a different system for yourself).
Important: the work must be obscure! Or at least keep quiet about knowing it by heart, otherwise there's a risk.
And remember, the password length must be 8! characters minimum, it must not contain meaningful words and data, it must contain capital letters, say the ones that come after commas in the poem (you'd better come up with a different system for yourself).
Including the commas themselves and other punctuation marks in the password wouldn't hurt either.
And the main piece of advice. Do not use the same passwords on critical areas and on trash bins.
Critical areas for me are online banking, my home PC, e-mail. Trash bins are all the other sites, from which your password will be pulled in no time after a possible site hack.
